Doctors Angelique Waite and Andrew Mairs specialize in sports chiropractic, manual therapy, and soft tissue treatments.
Dr. Angelique Waite, founder and owner of RIBS, holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Creighton University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Palmer College. Dr. Waite has been personal training on the penisula for over 11 years and practicing sports chiropractic in Menlo Park specifically for over 4 years. Dr. Waite not only treats the spine but also the extremities. She has treated the knees of professional cyclists, the hands of musicians, the backs of police officers, the shoulders of golfers, and the feet of marathon runners. Dr. Waite is a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) and Graston Technique provider, and specializes in the treatment of all manner of soft tissue and repetitive strain injuries. For the last 10 years, Dr. Waite has also been a NSCA-certified Personal Trainer and is currently working on a diplomate in Sports Chiropractic Rehabilitation.
Dr. Waite treats a variety of both professional and recreational athletes, her philosophy and treatment approach stemming from her diverse personal and professional experience. Dr. Waite has a passion for sports. She spent 15 years competing statewide in tap, ballet, and jazz, and is currently training for the Nike Women's Marathon in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Dr. Andrew Mairs decided to become a chiropractor after his own personal experience as a patient and as an intern with both the chiropractic and medical professions. He received his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and his Chiropractic education at Palmer West in San Jose.
Dr. Mairs believes the best way to effectively treat most spinal and extremity disorders is to use physiotherapy in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Mairs has received extensive training in addition to that of the normal chiropractic education in the area of extremity diagnosis, adjusting, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise. He has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2005.
Dr. Mairs is also one of the only providers of Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM) in the San Jose area. SASTM is considered by many to be the next generation in soft-tissue rehabilitation and is utilized by numerous professional sports teams.
